On the streets of brigands
Looking to escape the summer heat? Do you want nature and discover fascinating places and stories?
On the streets of brigands, in territory of Roccamandolfi, the homeland of the brigands, it aims to do this and more.
After a simple trek in the cool of centuries-old beech trees on a green meadow there will be the possibility of a picnic literally immersed in nature.
Program
- Meeting at 10.00 am at the “Guado La Melfa” refuge (1300 m above sea level)
- Duration 3 hours, stops included.
- Distance: 7 km (linear route, round trip)
Equipment
- Hat, sunscreen, kway, 2 L of water, shirt and spare shoes.
- It is advisable to wear long trousers, summer trekking shoes (trainers not suitable for the type of route) and to bring insect spray.
1.00 pm Pic-nic
At the end of the walk, in an area identified by the organizers, you can eat freely. You can stay in the shade and start your packed lunch.
It is recommended to bring light towels for sitting. The dining area is not far from cars.
