From Earth to Heaven: The Truffle Star Amid Constellations and Legends
Discovering truffles and the wonders of the cosmos. From Earth to Sky will be a journey through the region’s authentic flavors and the legends hidden behind the stars and constellations.
The truffle, a prized product of the earth—with Molise being Italy’s largest producer—takes center stage in events organized in collaboration with Di Iorio Tartufi of Busso.
Accompanying it is another gem of our region: the night sky, which, thanks to minimal light pollution, offers perfect evenings for stargazing and, at the same time, for sharing myths, legends, and fascinating facts. This is the astro-tourism project we’ve been running since 2018.

Friday, June 12, and July 17, starting at 6:30 PM.
Program
- Meet at Di Iorio Tartufi—Via A. Manzoni, 51—Busso;
- Introduction to truffles: history, characteristics, and fun facts;
- Tour of the museum dedicated to truffles and the region’s history;
- Truffle-themed tasting: appetizer, first course, dessert, water, and wine;
- Followed by naked-eye observation of the night sky with narration of myths and legends related to the constellations and the Molise region.
Both events will have limited capacity, with a maximum of 40 participants.
